I grew up in the South where biscuits are an everyday occurrence in many households.
And I always wanted to be one of those cooks who offered these delicious breakfast foods at least a few times a week, but who has the time to bake something every day?
Unless you’ve got a toaster oven and frozen biscuit dough, you can whip it up in easy one-two fashion. Then you’ve got plenty of time!

You can, absolutely, wonderfully, easily make biscuits in the toaster oven any time you like. The delicious doughy goodies can be popped in and left to bake a little while as you prep other foods or go about your business. Toaster ovens make them easy to make, too, with no extra fuss.

Why Would You Use a Toaster Oven for Making Biscuits?
There are a few different reasons I love using a toaster oven for making my biscuits.
First off, I live with a heat-sensitive husband who can’t stand when I bake using the conventional oven. A toaster oven, on the other hand, doesn’t heat up the whole kitchen.
Secondly, toaster ovens are convenient and easy to use.
Thirdly, if I make some biscuit dough ahead of time and leave town, my hubby can still easily make some biscuits for himself while I’m gone.
Next, toaster ovens are particularly great for making biscuits because they have an even heat dispersion that helps make those biscuits absolutely, scrumptiously perfect!
Plus, toaster ovens are also best for making small batches when you just want a couple of biscuits cooked up at a time.
What Types of Toaster Ovens Can You Use for Making Biscuits?
Toaster ovens can come in a range of sizes, heating element types, and, of course, costs.
The simple ones come with a heating element on the top and bottom and only allow you to adjust the temperature and time. These will work to make biscuits.
However, convection toaster ovens are the best for baking biscuits because they have the most even heat dispersion throughout.

What is the Best Temperature to Bake Biscuits in the Toaster Oven?
The right temperature will vary depending on the recipe you use and whether or not you’re using a convection or traditional toaster oven.
Generally speaking, though, most recipes call for 400 degrees in the oven.
Be sure to check your recipe before you preheat, though, just in case there are special reasons to bake at a lower temperature!
How Long Should You Bake Biscuits in a Toaster Oven Compared to a Conventional Oven?
A toaster oven heats biscuits a little slower than standard ovens unless they’re convection toaster ovens.
If your toaster oven is a little old, you may need to bake the biscuits longer than the recipe calls for.
Generally speaking, a conventional oven requires 12 to 15 minutes. A toaster oven usually takes biscuits between 20 and 25 minutes to bake.
Are Toaster Ovens Good for Re-Heating Biscuits?
Absolutely! Toaster ovens are the way I most prefer reheating biscuits. They give them that crisp, baked texture, unlike a microwave that can leave them soggy.
