Merry Christmas Plaque- Pottery Barn Knock-off

Are there certain catalogs that show up in your mailbox that make your heart skip a beat?

I certainly could name a few!  A few weeks ago, a mini catalog showed up and it had me in the Christmas Mood just by looking at the front cover.

And I fell in LOVE with SO many things on this darling tree.  My favorites being the Merry Christmas Chalk Art Plaques.

At a Price tag of $39.50 for a 12″ Plaque, I just KNEW I could make it for a LOT cheaper.

So I did.  And now I am sharing it with you!~

You can find unfinished wood plaques at most craft stores for under $2 a piece.

I snagged a bunch and painted them a nice shade of Christmas Red

I then created a printable version of the Chalk Art in Photoshop.

Simply Download a copy here.

This Print can be sized up to a 12×12 print or any size smaller.

I like having mine printed at Staples or Office Max, becuase the quality of printing is much better than my at home ink jet.

Once you get your chalk art printed, simply mount them to your painted plaques. I used some roll-on craft adhesive to apply mine.  You could also use Mod Podge, or double-sided tape too!

These were so EASY to put together and I can’t wait to get the rest of my tree decorated to see them tie in with the rest of my decor.
