Nautical Striped Wreath

I am embarrassed to admit that since the turn of the new year,

My front door has been naked!

{gasp!}

No Valentines, No Easter, No NOTHING!

I KNOW this is SO unlike me!  I pride myself in having a welcoming front porch, and well,

I have been slacking. No excuses!

And to be perfectly honest, I cringe every time I pass my bare front door.

And yesterday, I decided I would CRINGE no more!

So I pulled out a Styrofoam Wreath Form, and some sheets of felt from my Craft Stash,

And made our front door a new wreath!

From start to finish this Nautical Striped Wreath took me about 30 minutes to put together!

I simply took 3″ strips of felt and wrapped them around my wreath form and glued them down with hot glue.

Easy Peasy.

Last, I embellished it with a Big Bow, that I made out of a scrap piece of yellow fabric.

{have I mentioned my LOVE for Big Bows?}

 I love how HAPPY the bright yellow bow makes it!

And how welcoming my Front Entry Way NOW LOOKS!

I purposely chose colors that would last ALL summer.

You know, just in case I get in another rut when baby boy gets here in 5 1/2 weeks!

Oh, and how cute is my little photographer buddy?

Who LOVES to take pictures of what Mom is working on!

I Love being this boy’s Mom ♥
