Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

Today, I have another yummy recipe to share with you
that is PERFECT for Chilly Weather.
When the temperatures start to drop, there is NOTHING better than a yummy Soup
to satisfy my appetite.
But I will admit that I am slightly picky when it comes to my soups.
The ones that come from a can, just don’t cut it for me.
So a few weeks ago, When I had an intense craving for some Tomato Soup
I whipped this recipe up, and it was DIVINE!
it goes PERFECTLY with a grilled Cheese Sandwich or
I have tried them and made them, and they really are GOOD!

Ok, back to the soup:
Here is my recipe :0)

In my opinion, the fresher your herbs are (in this case the Basil) the better it will taste.
You could certainly substitute and use a dry herb, but FRESH is just that much better!
Trust Me ;0)

Enjoy!

  1. Yum! This looks delicious!

  2. Saw this over at Tatertots & Jello weekend wrap up. Mmmmm! I have never made “fresh” tomato soup but this looks so easy and sounds delish (I will admit to being a canned tomato soup gal). Thanks again and have a great weekend.

  3. I am curious to know about how many servings this recipe should make? Sounds great. I’m making this in the crockpot today for my mom’s birthday dinner. Thanks for the recipe.
