Sweet & Spicy Chicken

Happy New Year Everyone!
Today I am back to share another YUMMY recipe with you ALL!
As you can imagine, Pregnancy Craving are now in FULL Force :0)
Which MEANS you might be seeing a few more recipes around here!
On New Year’s Day, Instead of taking down all of my Christmas Decor,
I opted to spend a little time in the Kitchen cooking up a few things that would satisfy my pallet.
To start, I created this YUMMY Marinade that would work on ANY type of Chicken.
Chicken Breast, Drumsticks, Tenderloins, Wings, Kabobs,
 you name it and I promise it would be GOOD!
 As you can see from the picture, I used Chicken Drumsticks.
They are fairly inexpensive and make eating chicken a complete hands on experience!
{so make sure you have some napkins or wet wipes ready}
Cuz these are finger licking GOOD!
This Chicken REALLY will taste the best if you allow it to marinade for at least (3) hours.
I try to put my marinade together in the morning so it can sit all day!
So just before dinner time, I can lay them out on my baking sheet and pop them in the oven for 30-35 minutes.
But Don’t throw the rest of that Marinade AWAY!
Pour it in to a small sauce pan, and whisk in your cornstarch to thicken.
Bring to a boil (to kill any bacteria)
Reduce to a medium/low heat and allow to cook for about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and set aside.
 To get a really GOOD carmelization on BOTH sides of your chicken,
Flip your chicken over 1/2 way through your cooking time.
When they are done they should look nice and golden brown!
And DON’T Forget to line your pan with Foil!
It will make clean up a Snap!
Last, using a brush, smother on that Ooey Gooey Sticky Sauce all over that chicken!
If you have any remaining sauce, serve in a side dish for additional dipping.
This Chicken is Delicious served along side Rice and your Favorite Vegetable!
