Baked Sweet Potato Fries & A Giveaway!

With Thanksgiving less than 2 weeks away,
I know MANY of you have already started planning your Special Meal!
So this week I thought it would be fun to share with you some of my
FAVORITE Holiday Recipes that will surely be a hit!
Today, I thought I would start by sharing a Simple Side dish,
that even kids will enjoy.
You could easily serve these as a fun appetizer before the big meal too!
I LOVE Sweet Potatoes. It is one of the Many things that I look forward to
each and every Thanksgiving.
But since the typical way to eat sweet potatoes, is usually FULLY loaded with
Butter, Cinnamon, Sugar, & Marshmallows
I wanted a healthier way to enjoy them ALL year round.
These Sweet Potato Fries are simply DIVINE!
Instead, of Frying them, I baked them in a coating of melted Country Crock Spread,
Sea Salt, & Pepper.
But if you ask me, what makes these Fries, is the yummy Brown Sugar Dipping Sauce!
Here is how I made them:
First, Preheat your oven to 450 degrees.
In an oven safe dish, place 2 sticks (1 Cup) of Country Crock Spread
Place it in the oven as it preheats to melt it completely!
While it is melting Peel & Cut up 2 Medium/Large Sweet Potatoes into Strips
Once your Country Crock is Melted, remove 1/4 Cup and Coat your Cut up Sweet Potatoes with it.
Next, lay out your strips on a baking sheet
And sprinkle with Sea Salt & Black Pepper
Place these in your oven and Bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and Flip your Fries so that both sides get browned evenly.
Bake for another 10 minutes.
When they are done they will be a nice golden brown.
Last take your remaining Melted Country Crock and Whisk into it
1/3 Cup of Brown Sugar & 1 tsp of Cinnamon.
These Fries are the PERFECT combination of Salty & Sweet!
The outer edge is nice and crispy with a sweet smooth center!
And the best part is they are WAY better for you than anything you will Fry!

Is there anything I can use as a substitute for country crock spread? They don’t sell this where I live. Is butter, or more creamcheesey?
