SNAP! Recap Part II {What I learned}

Well, yesterday I shared with you ALL about
{SOME}
of the Wonderful Women I met at SNAP!Last weekend.
Today I want to share with you a little bit about what I learned.
First.
Be Prepared.
14 Pairs of shoes MAY NOT be necessary,
{unless you are Me of course}
 But certain things are…
Like a Notebook & a Pen

The Classes were AMAZING!
 I learned So much from each one and took PAGES of notes!
I love that I now have this notebook to go back and re-live All of the wonderful things I heard at SNAP.http://www.snaptheconference.com/snap-2012/
Also…
NEVER Go to a Conference without Business Cards.
and cute Earrings….
{don’t worry, those will be available to you too VERY soon}
I heard someone say that
“Business Cards at Conferences are like Business Cards on Crack”
Boy were they right!
Here are some of the ones I collected….

Unicorns on Sticks, Beautiful Frames, & Luggage Tags!
Seriously?!
They were ALL so Creative!

To make sure that mine were a complete reflection of Me, I went to an expert Designer
To help capture {ME}
Lara of…
Announced Design

With just a few simple instructions, She Nailed IT!.
If you are in the market for business cards, baby announcements, Christmas Cards, or just a good printable
Check out Announced Design
And tell her DavesWife sent you♥

Which brings me to Number 2.

In a Group of 300-ish women, Or the Blogging World,  How do YOU stand out?
How do you leave a lasting impression on someone you might only have a short time with?
How do you make new friends?

The Answer:
just BE you.
I love this beautiful necklace made by the talented Amy Cornwell
that each attendee was given to wear as a reminder.
As You can see, some of Us, weren’t afraid to let loose a little
And Just Be Ourselves

I LOVE to Shop.
{Okay so this wasn’t something New I learned}
Shopping is something that just comes naturally…
Just ask my sister.
But,  Shopping at The Queen Bee Market with My Creative Friends was a BLAST!

Me, Heidi, Kelli, Kristyn

It’s a good thing I went with a budget…
Because I could have done some SERIOUS damage!

Five
The blogging World is FULL of Wonderful/Talented Women.

  5. With havin so much written content do you ever run into
    any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement?

    My blog has a lot of unique content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my agreement. Do you know any techniques to help reduce content from being ripped off? I’d truly appreciate it.
