DIY Cookie Jar

Who Stole the Cookie From the Cookie Jar?
Who ME?
Yes You!
Couldn’t BE!
Then WHO?
I can’t begin to tell you about
All the MANY Questions and Comments I get about this little
Cookie Jar
that has been adorning my kitchen counter.
I will tell you, it is one of my Favorite things in my kitchen
{next to Dottie of Course!}
So today, I thought I would share with you how I made it.
Here is what I started with:
As you can see, I found the actual “Jar” at Home Goods.
It was already Red & White Striped,
{LOVE}
The Porcelain Candle Stick as you can see had a “lovely” purple flower painted on it.
To cover it up, I simply gave it a few coats of Creamy White Spray Paint.
Once Dry,
I attached the Jar to the Candlestick with some E-6000.
After letting it dry.
I applied the Word “Cookies” to the front with some Vinyl letters I cut with my Silhouette.
And there you have it.
Easy Peasy Right?
Here is where I am showing it off this week!
