{Fall} ish Wreath

It’s time to say good-bye to Summer.
I am tired of the HEAT.
(In Arizona we are still experiencing 100+ temps)
I am ready for Cooler Weather, Comfort Food, and the Smells of Fall.
Even Nixon keeps reminding me on a DAILY basis
“it’s almost Poe-kin Time”
poe-kin = pumpkin
However,
I am not exactly ready to start decorating for Halloween YET…
But My front door needed something other than
“Welcome Summer”
Sorry Summer, but you are NO longer “Welcome” at our house.
So Friday night while Dave & Nixon were watching Football.
okay, I was watching too…
I got out my Silhouette and some Fun Fall-ish Scrapbook paper
Cut out a BUNCH of Fall Leaves
And put this Lovely Wreath together.
I know what you are thinking. . .
I don’t typically “do” round wreaths. . .
But how could I not with all of these Lovely Leaves?
It makes me happy.
So have you started Decorating for Fall/Halloween yet?
I think I will wait for October before I start breaking out
ALL of my Halloween Decor.
Maybe by then the weather will have cooled off a bit.
And digging through my garage for my Halloween decor won’t be such a sweaty project :0)
Here is where I am showing this lovely wreath off this week:

Definetly making one for my door!
